I went to the Social Security office and I am now officially SARAH ANN CLARK...I know finally, huh...it only took us 8 months and Camden's up coming delivery to motivate us to get this done :) Now all we have to do is wait until my card comes in and we can get everything with the military changed as well....and my passport....and my drivers license...phew there is still a bit to do, l.o.l :)
If you can make it out, that's Camden's foot sticking straight up into my RIBS....ouch!!! I am officially 35 weeks today and everything checked out great at the NST and the ultrasound today. Camden is SUPER active still and surprised the nurse today with how much he was moving (mostly kicking me in the ribs). With the ultrasound today they estimated him to be 6 POUNDS, so he will definitely be a good sized baby!!! His head is engaged, which explains why my back and other parts of me hurt so much lately! :) Everyone is guessing that he will be born in Febuary sometime....but you know how that is, it is all a guessing game :) Nathaniel and I are getting very anxious to meet our little guy!

A neat experience.

For the past couple of months Nathaniel and I had the Greatest opportunity!!!! But let me start at the beginning of the story..... For a couple of weeks Nathaniel had really been praying for someone to share the gospel with and really dedicating his time to having different people over to our house hoping we could share the gospel with one of them. Well as many of you know the best experiences usually come out of nowhere. One day..or should I say, at 5 in the morning, Nathaniel was out running for P.T., and his buddy he was running with really had to use the bathroom so they went in search of a port-a-potty along the trail, well the first one they came upon someone happens to step into it 2 seconds before his buddy did, so they kept on running until they could find another one...thankfully, for his friend, a short while later they did and while his friend went in, Nathaniel decided to run around the track that was right there to wait for him and he happened to run into another buddy from BOLC 2 running on the track as well, so they started up a conversation and out of nowhere his friend, David, asked if he could go to church with Nathaniel on sunday to check out the "mormons". Un-known to us at the time, that little conversation would start a good friendship and tuesday night meetings with the missionaries with David at our house and eventually David's decision to be baptized.
David was baptized yesterday (Jan. 23rd) and asked Nathaniel to baptize him. It has been such a neat experience these past couple of months to see the change in David as he learned more about the Gospel and how happy he has become. He is a very spiritual person and I have learned so much from him, Nathaniel and my relationship has defininetly been strengthed by David's testimony and having the missionaries in our house each week.

P.S. they were both looking at the other people taking pictures.

Ultrasound picture

Here's the picture of Camden! It may be a little hard to make out at first, at least it was for me, l.o.l! But he is looking straight out you. You can make out his cubby cheek, his mouth, nose and one of his eyes.

Baby Camden

We had another NST today and an ultrasound, and Camden is doing great!!! There is a good amount of amniotic fluid which means that he is getting the nourishment that he needs and the placenta is working and also his heart beat is great, when he moves around it speeds up and when he is resting it slows down!!! ALSO he has the cutest chubby cheeks, I will try and scan the ultrasound picture in, I just can't wait to kiss him and hold him!!! Only 7 more weeks until my due date, but it looks like I may be induced between 37 and 39 weeks...so only 4 to 6 more weeks until I get to meet this little guy :)

We bought a...........

HOUSE!!!!! We signed the contract yesterday and Nathaniel and I are SOOO excited!!! We will be living in a town called Copperas Cove and the great thing about this is that it is only an 8 minute drive to the gate of Fort Hood!!! We decided that we were going to have a house built after researching all of our options and are quite excited to choose out the brick/rock for the front of the house, the flooring, and all the cabinents!!! The house is 2100 square feet and it has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths....which means there is PLENTLY of room for people to visit...HINT HINT :) :) :)

Baby Camden

Well since my doctor's appt. in December my blood pressure has been high, so for the past 3 weeks we have been tracking it (since it had been in the normal range since my first OB appt.), well this past week when I got back to MO I went into the doctor's to get it checked again and on wednesday it was even higher then before at 158/98, so on thursday I had to come back in and get it checkied again (it was still high) and also do a 24 hour urine test which I had to turn in friday morning and then go back in friday afternoon for another appt. Well it turns out that I have PIH (pregnancy induced Hypertension) with the possibility of it turning into preeclampsia, which basically means my body isn't reacting that great with this pregnancy (I heard it explained that my body was basically allergic to Camden, which was making my blood pressure rise). So this means that from now until Camden is born I have to go in twice a week for a NST (non-stress test), and ultrasound so they can monitor my contractions, Camden's heartbeat, his growth, and the amount of amniotic fluid there is, because with PIH my body may help produce less amniotic fluid and not enough nourishment for the baby, and if at anytime it turns out that Camden isn't growing and the fluid is signifigantly decreasing then they will induce me early. THE GOOD NEWS is that so far Camden and I are both doing great. Camden is growing and getting stronger each day and has now decided that he LOVES kicking my ribs and I haven't had to many side effects from PIH, the bad news is that they will probably at sometime still induce me, although we are all hoping not until 38 or 39 weeks because PIH can start effecting my liver and other organs and the only "cure" for PIH is for me to deliver Camden!!!

But so far things are going great and Nathaniel and I feel like everything is going to turn out great!!!!

Christmas Vacation, Home Buying, Pregnancy.

We don't have any pictures (we are horrible at remembering our camera)...BUT we had the best Christmas vacation. We first flew into Washington and spent a week at Nathaniel's family's house, where we had fun dipping chocolates, playing Catan, attending the temple as a family, getting an ultrasound (it's GREAT having a father-in-law who is a doctor :), and shipping! We ate WAY to much food and loved every minute of it!!! Then the day after Christmas we all flew into Boise and spent a couple of days and Nathaniel's aunt and uncle's house, where we had fun swimming at the gym, eating a christmas dinner with relatives, watching movies, and eating MORE delicious food. We then all drove over to Pocatello and spent time with his other aunt and uncle and cousins. The highlight of the trip to Pocatello was going to the temple and seeing his cousin and her husband and cute family sealed together for eternity. I was so happy to be a part of their day and will always remember the happiness I felt on that day!!! We also spent new years eve there as well and had a great time playing games and at midnight watching the ball drop and celebrating the new year!!! Then on new years day we drove down to S.L.C. and spent the next couple of days with my family, we bought them Catan and taught them how to play....I think it is now one of there favorite games :) Our flight home was great...and now we are enjoying our time back in FREEZING Missouri....seriously 10 degrees during the day is TO COLD!!!!

Other fun news is that we are buying a house down in Texas. We are right in the middle of deciding what we want and are in touch with a home builder. I will keep you up-dated on what we decide to do :)

My pregnancy is still going good. At my last appointment my blood pressure was high, so my doctor asked me to keep track of it while on vacation....which it happened to spike, and then the next day while we were at the OBGYN in Pocatello it was back down into the normal range. Hopefully it stays that way. I am now in my 8th month of pregnancy and Camden is getting bigger and bigger each day, he now loves sticking his legs straight up into my ribs...but luckily he hasn't ever given a swift hard kick to my ribs yet!!!

Nathaniel and I are doing great and are counting down the days until Camden is here (ONLY 57 MORE DAYS!!!)
