A neat experience.

For the past couple of months Nathaniel and I had the Greatest opportunity!!!! But let me start at the beginning of the story..... For a couple of weeks Nathaniel had really been praying for someone to share the gospel with and really dedicating his time to having different people over to our house hoping we could share the gospel with one of them. Well as many of you know the best experiences usually come out of nowhere. One day..or should I say, at 5 in the morning, Nathaniel was out running for P.T., and his buddy he was running with really had to use the bathroom so they went in search of a port-a-potty along the trail, well the first one they came upon someone happens to step into it 2 seconds before his buddy did, so they kept on running until they could find another one...thankfully, for his friend, a short while later they did and while his friend went in, Nathaniel decided to run around the track that was right there to wait for him and he happened to run into another buddy from BOLC 2 running on the track as well, so they started up a conversation and out of nowhere his friend, David, asked if he could go to church with Nathaniel on sunday to check out the "mormons". Un-known to us at the time, that little conversation would start a good friendship and tuesday night meetings with the missionaries with David at our house and eventually David's decision to be baptized.
David was baptized yesterday (Jan. 23rd) and asked Nathaniel to baptize him. It has been such a neat experience these past couple of months to see the change in David as he learned more about the Gospel and how happy he has become. He is a very spiritual person and I have learned so much from him, Nathaniel and my relationship has defininetly been strengthed by David's testimony and having the missionaries in our house each week.

P.S. they were both looking at the other people taking pictures.

What an amazing experience for you to have. With Matt being the Ward mission leader we have had a few, but most of them are taught in their own homes and Matt will come home and tell me how the lessons went. It is amazing to see what the gospel can do to people, how they can change so much. I am glad that you were able to have this experience it's wonderful. I can't remember the actual scripture reference but "Great shall be your joy save it be you bring but one soul unto me" I might not have it exact, but that's you guys. It's great to have such strong family members. Love ya, hope all is well.
